This is a family forum. I'd prefer that viffing wasn't mentioned.

Gosh, I'm sorry. My bad. Didn't realize that vi...ng had those ugly, sensual, connotations. Just thought it was the usual .. you know .. tell her you love her before you do the deed kinda thing. But I did find this picture in a secret Govt archive in a hidden salt mine in Northwest New Mexico (I was just camping, ok?), dealing with Axis Wonder Weapons, and was wondering if the Vi...ng Bat looked like one of those the winged things. And Shannon Doherty was no wheres near me, I swear it! … um … well … not then … at least, not that close … I mean not that close, right then, anyway.

Martin, have you seen Duxford Bf-109 picture (on the last page)?

Yes, I haven't been to Duxford in years. I want to go again now.

What I wanted to say is that Bf-109 is not... well... very genuine...

Well, there aren't many of them left for some reason There aren't any (iirc) actual Bf109s in a flying condition and only a few of HA-1112 flyable.

Is shortage of flying BF-190's due to lack of DB engines?

Didn't the proto-types have Rolls Royce engines?

The only "viffing" I know of is term used by British Harriers with their movable engine thrust nozzles...

No, that was the MiG 15. Not that we remember that and are bitter about it or anything like that.
