Shaun,
With beta 6 I wanted to look at players card before installing 177 RC 2. Clicked on Washington my team and got run time error 6 overflow. This was the only error, clicked ok and the game shut down. Restored from my backup reopened the game and got RTE 6. Loaded RC 2 then restored from my backup again, went through the off season. Adjusted my roster. clicked on spring training and got RTE 6 overflow. I think I have run 1950 to 1951 off season 6 times now. But I do know who is going to retire now before they retire in the off season! None of the RTE 6's were the same, I mean, I was clicking on different things, my team name, just reopened the game and spring training. This looks like a good one.

Well, I thought it maybe just the 1948 association that was the problem. So, I loaded my 1947 association. Went through the off season. simed about a month, and while siming a few games I got Run Time Error 11 "Division by Zero". Game closed after clicking Ok. Reopened game and tried to sim and RTE 11 again on the first sim attempt.

does this Assn have finances turned on or off?

I'm just guessing here, but if you're getting OverFlows and Division By Zero errors, sounds like a financial problem.
By default, even if you are not using finances, every team is assigned a value for FranchisePoints.

SO,
If you are NOT using finances, try this:

DL my PS_TEeams utility...you'll need to DL the version from my website as its been updated.

Run it and choose your PSA file.
WHen the utility is loaded look and see if their are any values for the teams in the FranchisePoints field.

There should be a value for each team. If there is not, enter a value (2000000) for each team and then try running PS and see if that works.

If it does work, then we'll have to find out why it got wiped out in the first place, but at least this will give us something to start with finding teh problem.

Don, if you create a new association from 1948, can you duplicate this?

If so, can you give me the exact steps? Thanks.

Shaun, I just started a new association in 1950. I haven't had any problems so far, but also haven't gone through the off season yet either. I can start another 1948 season if you think I need to be in 1948? I think some thing (??) happened to my 1948 association and it is corrupt now. Some thing must have corrupted my 1947 season also. I'll let you know if there are any problems with my 1950 season.

Crash, I was not using finances, I opened PS Teams, but did not see any thing about finances in PS Teams. All I saw was regions, team names, City and stadiums.
