A friend and I are playing Omaha Beach. 100% realism settings 30 min battles.

This gun has managed to survive so long it's crazy. I hope it keeps up the good work.

By the looks of the teams in his photo I would say his success was at Dog Red beach, if that is the case I would say it was from a bunker on the southern summit of that map.

In baseball for a pitcher to be successfull it takes 3 things. Location, location and location. Well in this game for a at-gun to be successfull it also takes 3 things. Bunker, bunker, and more bunker!

Posting 3 at-guns (from the Omaha beach maps) stats after 4 day turns of June 6th. Now I actually dont feel so bad after seeing others face the same results.

The gun is in a fortified bunker on Dog Red.  It's lasted this long due to it's great luck not getting hit by a naval barrage.

I knew that crystal ball still worked even thou its always cloudy when I need it before one of my battles...

As far as off shore goes on bunkers, ive yet to do any damage too anything inside one. Best to use it on stuff out in the open or on regular building structures from what I can tell.

My opponent can not seem to find this gun, it's pissing him off to no end. I think it's the best damn thing ever.
In my opponent's defence he's not played any of the close comabt games in years. I've loved the close combat series forever and he's just recently realized why.

Its an amazing map to try and take as allies thats for sure.

I see the same thg happening in your kills as in GC I am in. You have 1/2 kill extra on men side. I find that kinda strange, but until now ive never really looked for it, so maybe its common.

panzerlehr62, I noticed that too.  I assume it's because someone got injured and rotated out.  Not really sure though.

It finally happened. My opponent got smart and threw everything he had at my heavy guns that were holding their beaches. In a matter of 2 battles he took all my anti tank guns and pushed me back off the beach. Things were going so well for me too.
