Why in some hexes do I see two seperate ground unit icons for my forces? In playing the Allies I will sometimes note that some ground unit icons are a relatively bright green. A second ground unit icon will sometimes also be present, with a duller green color. What is the significance of these two icons and their color? It seems to me that some of the airbase and anchored ship icons change to this darker green color as well. What's this about?

It is a function of unit density. More units darker color.
