I need your help. Since Admirals edition (played as the allies) does not allow us to assign the Austrailian SW Pacific area to be handled by the AI we should be able to move Austrailian and N.Z. infantry units on transports or amphibious ships to build up the defenses on Port Moresby for example.
NO matter what I change the infantry units to: Stat move, reserve, combat, etc. the game will not allow you to load them. Why not? What am I doing wrong???
I like some of the things added to the Admirals edition but really miss the ability we used to have to assign the Austrailians to be handled by the computer.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

They have to be assigned to a non-restricted command, such as Southwest Pacific. Nearly all the Aussy & NZ LCUs start the game assigned to restricted commands and it will coast you an arm and a leg in political points to change commands. Near the end of Dec 41/early Jan 42 you get a US C-47 unit @ Brisbane and you should be able use that to transfer an LCU from Oz to PM without changing commands.

Or wait to patch 2 , as devs have stated a different depiction of national borders on that patch, that could help to amend this.

btw is not strange that the Australian goverment refuses to send every bit of his home defense force to New guinea, I am more concerned in the inability of  Dutch forces to redeploy between his own isles
