A humble request... Would it be possible to have the info pop-ups persist until the cursor is moved off the magnifying glass symbol? Is so, cool. If not, no big t'ing mon.
Wow what a fast reply! Reply was up before I figured out how to get to the last page of this post!
It worked and I cannot thank you enough.
Waiting for turn one back playing PBEM as Japan. About to be in deep doo-doo without tracker.
If anyone reading this is hesitant to post their question anywhere on these forums I encourage you not to be. Results are Guaranteed.
Thanks - Floyd and I (with some other good people) try to maintain running support for this tool. Make sure you're using the right region-mapping file (File ->Import -> Base Region)(I recommend Kull's for the GC). Good luck and keep asking questions - it keeps us all active on the forums.

I have newly installed tracker and it is great...thanks a MILLION... but in this site is there a run down of all the abbreviation used in Tracker? Most are obvious, but some I still have not figured out. Also one thing that bugs me (and it might be a bug) is that when looking at bases, and the Air support column, it is titled "Air S(P)". Not sure what the "P" means BUT for Rangoon for example, I have TONS of air support and lots of air, but it reads in the red; first number is "0" and the second is "(148)". Thus 0(148). That can't be right, what am I missing???? Thanks in advance. Hal

Thanks Damian. I don't know how you will "look" but sure.... I think there are a few other bases with that problem. As I'm usually very good about making sure my A/C have enough support... but Rangoon is the real obvious one... thanks again... Hal

Nudge: It would be a good idea to attach a save file so that Damian can have a look...

can anyone tell me an easy way to print screens from tracker? I thought I was smart enough to figure it out but reality is proving otherwise
thanks
Mike
Well you can do a csv dump of the screen from the Tracker - File-> export CSV; then print it out using excel etc or just use a screen shot utility or printScreen key on your computer and paste it into paint...
I have 2 computers: #1 - desktop Win XP Home #2 - netbook Win 7 HP (I can share folders)
At computer #1 I installed the game and WitPTracker I would like to use WitPTracker on computer #2 too. How can I do? I need to install the game on computer #2? How can I synchronize data WitPTracker on both computers? Which files must be copied from one computer's on second?

Well - you will need to install witp-ae on the other computer as we get the map and other images from there. Synchronizing could be achieved by copying the DB files, but I think it easier to copy over the savefile and load the turn ...
[edit] Just saw you can share folders ... just have tracker on the main computer and run it from there ... on both

Are you using the beta?
It looks like you are, so you need to delete all the trackerdb.* files and then copy the pwsdll.dll from the beta2 folder into the tracker folder and then give it another whirl.

Yes, I just this eve updated the Beta. I did what you said and it worked! I found I somehow had the wrong .dll in the Tracker directory. Either I copied the wrong .dll or michaelm updated it. I may have had an older version in Tracker directory. Thank you much. I've spent hours scratching at my gray hairs over this! Regards
My WITP Tracker stopped working something like 1 year ago (witp time)... now i have a huge number of sightin reports and, not having tracker no more, i'm not able to organize the intel reports in a rational manner...
is there a solution? i know i can copy and past every single report txt file into a word file and then use the "search" function...but to copy and paste more than 300 txt files will take me weeks...
Is there a tool that can collect the old txt intelligence files? how do you that without tracker? Or if i re-install tracker back again, will it read the old files? (if i remember well Tracker only works "from now on" and not for the past files...

You can read the sigint file for any loaded turn. If you load all of the old turns, you can load all of the old sigint.

Combat Reporter is what you need. It will read all the old files too if you still have them.

I tried that...it doesn't work (even with the latest java downloaded) on my laptop...which is where i'm actually playing the game. I tried to move everything to my desktop...combat reporter works...and Tracker started working too... however combat reported reads my sigtin files but it doesn't organize them...so to say i cannot collect all the messages concerning a single enemy base...while Tracker does...but Tracker doesn't read my old intelligence txt files stored in the SAVE directory...it seems that you need to load every turn step by step immediately when you have completed it...and it also seems that it doesn't grab the old intel files that belonged to old turns not loaded at the right time...

You can go back and read in the sigint from previously loaded turns in WitPTracker. Use the "Read text file" command from the menu and select the file to load (unfortunately, done one at a time).
For Allies just take the last three numbers, so in this case you should be looking for TF 116. For Japan take the last three, but then add a digit in front. I forget what digit it is, but when you are playing Japan it will be obvious because they all begin with the same digit.
