We're testing the download/installation of the patch right now. Please do not download the patch until we make the public announcement of its availability. That should be in no more than an hour from this point in time. I know it's tough to wait, thanks for your patience. :)

Regards,

- Erik

Everything takes longer than it should. We're still awake, it will be up with an announcement before we fall asleep. :)

Sorry folks,

Our tested and approved patch creation program seems to have decided to act up tonight in a manner not described or addressed in its documentation. We'll do our best to get the patch up ASAP, but we need to get some rest.

When we wake up in the morning, we'll have another look. I'm sure it's as frustrating for you as it is for us, just pretend the patch wasn't supposed to be out yet... Ok? ;)

Regards,

- Erik

We're up, so far we seem to be kicking butt on the patch installer problems we had last night. We hope to have an announcement by mid-afternoon.

Regards,

Erik,

Will ALL the enhancements in the first patch come into play in a user modified scenario that is started post patch?

More specifically, I modified #17 for semi historical Midway results as was posted. Will things like the new penetration rules be in effect in a new game?

Thanks,
MJK

Chiteng,

You should be fine, I think you caught the working patch just as it was posted. Try your True Update again, if it says you're up to date, then you are.

MJK,

Yes, all code changes like the new penetration code will work, but none of the new OOB changes (like 5" gun penetration) will retrofit to existing games. In order to get the changes listed in the OOB section into your game, it has to be started with 1.10.

Regards,

- Erik
