ORIGINAL: sliver_bullet So this is a "War in the Pacific" in the air version ? Same level of Depth and Details ? Yes, pretty much. Not disagreeing with Erik, but I would, with respect, put it slightly differently. The feeling of detail is very similar to WitP, but the learning curve is a little less daunting. WitP looks at all environments (land, sea, air) and aspects of the war in the Pacific Theatre, whilst EDBTR looks at just one - air. But it does then go into that bit greater depth than air in WitP - you are plotting individual raids, selecting primary and secondary targets, planning tactically sound ingress and egress routes, controlling your flak deployments. So the overall feeling of depth and detail is the same, as for Gary G games - just in slightly different but significant places. I loved this when Talonsoft released it in 1999. Ten years on, I love it even more. Real thanks to Matrix for rescuing it and allowing us the chance to put ten years of playing experience into updating the wee beast.
