In Finland there is lesser comunists then in the Skandinavian countrys altogether.You chould visit Finland in your shorts sometime. Creece should have a Finish like goverment without shorts.

*grin* Haven´t seen any old fashioned communist in Finland since the good old USSR blew up their politics. Communism is not a friggin religion in Finland. Communism, as it was, is gone. Well, of course there are people voting for the left wing, but still... Chill up, mate.

Status: offline 		IIRC There has not been any significant communist influence in Finland after WWII It's not like we were Warsaw pact countries or anything.... Because of west/east influence, our military does have very varied hardware... Airforce equipped with F-18.. ...and army equipped with T-72:s We have lots of F-18 flybys around our neighborhood - Way cool yeah F-18 rules - but I like MiG:s too....

Of course. Every nation on this globe would have been better without communism First ideas (1917´s Red October manifest) of perfect nation under communism was quite allright, but it´s nature did turn up to be just another way to kick poor peasants ass by the rich government. We Finns had our share of civil war (we call it freedom war) between communists (reds) and republic supporters (whites) in January-May 1918 just after Finland had its independence in 6.12.1917. After the freedom war (whites won) the communists have been quite a minor group in finnish politics since then. I rest my case
