The chances table in the workbooks describes the base accuracies and the associated probability of a hit. What probability function is used by the engine or is it a look up table? I tried to use a logistic growth curve aka S-curve distribution to try to model the probability but could not reproduce the results exactly as described in the work book. Any clues as to how to do this?

I thought it might be a useful addition to a work book to have some statistics for the different weapons to give modders a better clue on appropriate settings for the base accuracies and ranges PB, Close, Medium, and Long.
