Would I be right in assuming that Turkey Day isn't exactly welcomed by Canada's turkey population then?

Happy Turkey day.  And in honour of Turkey Day 2009, out here on the Wet Coast we're having homemade pizza and beer!

Its a good thing to gorge yourself a few times a year-no more enjoyable way to show your appreciation for your homeland.

It puts a smile on my face just to think of it-hams, yams, turkey, stuffings, weird stuff, and pies-can't wait.

Happy turkey day to the great white north.

Last evening was the night of gorging...tonight is the night of gorging on leftovers.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's the one day of the year Canadians take a break from cannibalism. Turkeys are dispatched according to Canadian tradition - they are bludgeoned to deth with a boat hook.

Nonsense...maybe back in the old days! Today we cut their throats with a sharpened skate blade.
