Thanks, sounds like your opponent messed-up the defense of Luzon. Clark is more defensible terrain than Bataan, and he is going to lose a few units before that even starts. Getting units cut-off is a big no-no for the Allies. I see some players fighting forward like Nemo, but against a reasonably competent Japanese opponent, who doesn't short-change Luzon, the best strategy is to pull everyone back on Clark day one, and abandon Manila, IMO. Either way though, it's not the tough nut that it was in WITP. PS: On the ENGINES, I have found myself chronically short of all engines, particulalrly Ha-33, 34, and 35, especially the 35. I wish I had expanded production sooner in my game! Hopefully you have planned better than I did in those engines!
