Hi Guys

We found some extra copies of Desert Fox Mega Campaign. There are VERY few copies for if you want it now is the LAST chance to get it. Desert Fox 1941 by Bill Wild Man Wilder and as with all of Bill's scenarios this one is top notch and show why Bill Wilder is the master.

If you like to purchase a copy please go to our store. DO NOT DELAY once they are gone do ask we will not have them.

David

We have to order something like 2000 CD's in order to make it cost effective print run. Unfortunately wargames are like other computer games with the vast majority of sales coming in the first 6 months. So at this point with orders MCNA at most able to sustain a couple copies per week max, it woould likely be years before we recouped the production costs for another production run.

We are far better off taking that production money and putting it into a new game like Noble Armada that will sell out of its run fairly quickly (we hope) and justify follow on production runs.

The hassle of trying to fill "on-demand" orders that ammount to a handful or two a month just aren't worth the effort.

I was hoping for something just like this. I purchased MCLV a while ago and was really impressed. By the time I was trying to order both MCWT and MCNA at the same time I discovered that MCNA was sold out. I've been pondering my options when poof, this good news! :)

So I quickly ordered my MCNA and MCWT today (Order ID is MTX55907). Keep up the good work Matrix!!

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you want to keep selling MCNA indefinitely, by just reburning the CDs when new orders come in? Is there a technical or legal reason that prevents Matrix from producing more of these CDs?

Yes, unfrotunately the first printing was with a company that did not have a very good quality control process and we had a large number of "bad disks". So that lot was more or less a waste... thoughts back to those first attempts to get a product out are like a bad dream!! If Murphy could get us...he DID!

Luck has something we have had to make our own supply of, as we have had more than out share of "box - cars" in critical die roll situations...

I just purchased MCNA
Do I have to uninstall version 7.1 from my computer before installing MC-Desert Fox.

What do I have to do. Do I have to Install MCNA then all the upgrades then MCLV?

Just looking for a little advice. Thanks.

Install MCNA then install LV full version again, upgrade back to 7.1 then apply any MegaCampaign patches.

Well, I'd sure like a Mega Campaign, but it looks like the shipping here would be twice as expensive as the campaign itself..

Isn't it possible to use some kind of system were one pays, and receives a key to download it from your site?

I kinda like the idea of the Pay For Key, Get Download.

Too bad it'd probably be hacked in 10 minutes after they opened it :(

Forgive my ignorance here, but could you not burn them yourselves? I mean burning 2 CDs a week wouldn't be *that* bad.

Commercially produce CD's aren't burned to my knowledge, they're stamped, in massive machines that do 300 or 400 at a time...for the small machines.

G_X you speak the truth. And to get someone to stamp them there would have to be some sort of contract on minimum copies to be produced.

I'd delete that quick if I was you. . .

But I was saying that - since Matrix has the game files on a gold CD somewhere, could they not theoretically just burn their own copies from a pc? I mean if they get 5 requests a week, that's 1 hour tops.

Hi Guys

The Mega Campaigns are copyrighted materials and we request that you do not copy our games in any way. If you want to try a Mega Campaign we still have Wild Bill's Operation Watchtower 1942 and Brent Richards Lost Victories 1941. Lost Victories is in very low stock so if you want it get it soon.

Thanks

I understand.I was under the impression that the said product was no longer in print and "abandoned".I didnt mean to suggest piracy of software or anything like it.Sorry.
