My Fleet is retiring to Hobart before moving off to CENTPAC for my own attack I will leave a storng SCTF in Australian waters and I now have enough marine DB's and LB Fighters to pretty much protect my LOC. Should I have committed maybe but I am taking it slowly and I dont have an advantage and I dont need to fight it out so I made the call to back off I sheperded him out of southern australian waters I will delay but not try to hold on in Western Australia I dont want to get my army cut off My next objective is to assemble a stong Armour Heavy Corps in the East with the intention of driving north to take Townsville back if he attacks in the West then I will attack in the East. I have to get some of the initiative back in order to try and get him to commit more forces to Australia in order to allow my line clearing ops in CENTPAC and land attacks in India to suceed AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR May 27, 42 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ASW attack near Albany at 51,157 Japanese Ships DD Oshio BB Hiei CA Mikuma CA Tone CL Isuzu DD Yudachi DD Yugure DD Wakaba DD Nenohi DD Hatsuharu Allied Ships SS O20 SS O20 launches 4 torpedoes at DD Oshio DD Yugure fails to find sub and abandons search DD Wakaba fails to find sub, continues to search...
