Status: offline 		how does one unload the amphibious units from the ships onto the country
to be invaded

Status: offline 		If you are playing 1.60 click on the hex you want to invade and the hex options will appear in the upper right corner.

Choose the amphib symbol, you should get a drop down box listing the units available to land.

In 1.70 you can also land/attack form adjacent sea squares.
