Evil plots make for the most interesting and weirdnessey games. This one certainly qualifies. What with the Nazis in the Homeowners Assoc., interludes to current film making, various really gross (wormy) medical references, family hijinks and flaming long irons to the green, it is hard to even keep up with the game thru the gales of laughter. Great AAR, Captain, et al.

This is a truism. I would not casually dismiss the idea that RAAFBLOKE is, in fact, Amirar Rord Nerson-san and is messing with our grey matter, what precious little there is.

I just checked my email again. Somebody woman I never heard of wants to be my friend on Facebook (and I can't remember my password so I cant see what she looks like)....a travel company wants to sell me a $50 flight to Atlanta...and there are "Hot Asian Nudes" in my area...but no turn from Nippon.

Speaking of the SS/HOA, I got another leter from them. It seems I am a scofflaw for not keeping up the landscape and because I because there was a broken pot in the front yard.

It is true I stopped irrigating a portion of the grass because I am going to convert the area (about 60x25 ft) to lantana, lavender and society garlic. I got the idea from the beautiful gardens at the Getty Museum in LA. This will also use less water. And there is a broken pot (that pinhead broke) with a rose bush still in it and still alive.

Meanwhile, the rest of the yard looks fantatastic, the rose arbor, the lantana is in full bloom, the azaleas are starting and some of the lavender. Any idiot can see the area in question is under construction.

So anyway, Saturday, I see this chick stop out front and take out a clipboard. her car is all black with smoked black windows and silver pinstripes (I'm not making this up).

"Holy crap! It's Eva!" I run outside the start moving the pot and she pulls away. I am pretty sure I will be summoned before the "Architectural Committee".

Anyone want to guess the make of car?

Mercedes.

Fix the pot with epoxy, but not like they want it. Arrange the shards (break it more if you have to) flat on a table and epoxy them together in the most grotesque pattern you can, then epoxy them. When dry, epoxy the mess to a metal rod, then mount in place the from yard.

It's called 'art'.

My Dearest Raafy;

Interesting project you have there. General Blamey has been treated kindly in WWII(c). This time his warnings of invasion in Northern Oz have proved correct. In WWII(b), I'm afraid he was a kindly but doddering grandfatherly figure whose subordinates lacked the heart to tell him the rail line from Perth to Derby wasn't done yet.

As for your suspicions about historical accuracy, you are quite correct. Anything after the Pearl Harbor attack in one of these AAR's is suspect. Even there, the Kates sometimes inexplicably forget their torpedoes.

Mercedes.

If it aint a Mercedes, I'm guessing Caddy Escalade, maybe a Porsche Cayenne, or Lexis 330 (all Luxury SUVs).

Every nosy bimbo "HOA Volunteer-Waffen SS Kept Woman" in my gated community drives 'em fast, scattering those brash kids on skateboards.

OTOH, the neighbor women with Jags, Rolls, Bentleys, Maseratis or Ferraris don't do that sort of dirty work---they send out their Mayan Housekeepers in old Camrys or Preludes to dig up the dirt, and then have them report back to the Country Club Day Spa/Tennis Club.

How on Earth does Maj Gen Kublai Khan only rate a "49" on Aggression? That seems disrespectfully low!

You sure it wasn't really "94" (saving a rating of 100 for, say, Satan, the Terminator, Cthulhu or a Joe Stalin with serious some Anger Management Issues?)

7th June. JJ lands at Darwin, an entire Division no less! The Emery Point Battery wreaks haoc amongst the ladning ships. I do wonder if they actually reconned the place before paddling ashore. I would have thought a better plan would be to land at Darwin, pin down the troops and THEN attack at K. But what do I know?

If it is really Adirar Rord Nerson-san it is quite a cover story.

Very nice site. Interesting reading. It seems Gen. Blamey sent his son (an officer in the Australian army) out of Crete on his own transport plane. Interesting parallel to MacArthur getting his own wife and son out of Bataan except that Blamey did not take the plane himself and presumably got out with his troops by ship.

It is also apparent that RAAFY doesn't like MacArthur very much Fortunately MacArthur gets roughed up pretty bad in WWII(a) and WWII(b).

But Darwin was a formidable fortress before the forced evacuation. It would have been ugly for them with a second CD unit and infantry to back them up plus a level 4 airfield. My guess is this is a target of opportunity. If they take it, which they are likely to do, they will have a rail link to their forces at Katherine.

Now we know what the alleged 5 CV's were off Darwin. I don't know how you mistake Haruna and transports and some patrol boats for 5 carriers.

Interestingly, the Japs have also landed at Merauke, which they needed to do because we had search aircraft there. It is no longer clear they are headed for Normanton.

This isn't the original. This is Kublai Khan XXIV. There is quite a dilutional effect after 24 generations.

You know, I think I once saw Kublai Khan XXIV sipping a Pina Colada at Trader Vic's in London. His hair was perfect!

If the Great Kublai Khan was ever seen drinking a Pina Colada, I am pretty certain it was proffered by a woman and he was trying to get laid. There can be no other explanation because the pina colada is definitely a "sticky green".

BTW..sign-in today was "VILSEX" which is the first Dutch sign-in I recall. It is used in the red light district of Amsterdam meaning roughly "Will have sex" or "available".

Quick commercial break...

First time poster, long time lurker... and seriously, this AAR has become a must-read for me at work. Of course, my coworkers wonder why I keep looking at funny maps of New Guniea while chuckling with glee, but seriously. This is a wonderful classic!

BTW, don't underestimate the combat ability of the Love Boat and the Catamarans near Horn Island. There's a lot of victory points on that little white boat. It's like the Japanese Queen Mary. But seriously, if one of those LYB's goes to the bow, spreads out their arms and yells "I'm the king of the world..." You are just going to have to sink it. With a M&M brand iceberg. (Don't know how to get the iceberg to the South Pacific, but... well, logistics is Milo's job.
