Hi all
I (Prussia) recently selected to continuously skip by reinforcement phase during an August reinforcement phase. To my surprise, the log annouces that Prussia passed reinforcement in the August reinforcement phase, which is first untrue (because I had already played my reinforcement phase for August), and second reveals my intention to skip the next phase. Surely the announcement that Prussia has skipped the reinforcement phase should wait until the actual month where the skipping is to occur (i.e. September), and not be announced in the month the skipping option was selected.

Correct. Another player can gather information from the fact that someone does not intend to do reinforcement next month. Not much, but at a crucial moment...

On the other hand, this allows for a player to act like peace but expect to be called to allies, thus have the skip be de-skipped. Put on your best poker face now ...

Hi Marshall,
that is what I thought, but I recently selected to skip future reinforcement turns during my current reinforement phase, only to see the log annouce that I had skipped my reinforcment turn (which I had just played and had not skipped). Since I had not skipped the current turn, and only selected to skip future turns, I assume the appearance of this message in the log was because I had selected to skip future reinforcement turns. If this makes sense.
