Well like I've seen written on here before WITP is truly a learning as you go game. I just today figured out that you can only pull replacements and do upgrades at a base with 20k supply. I feel like such a fool now because I was always so perplexed as to why my squadrons wouldnt upgrade or why I couldnt pull planes out of the replacement pools. I wonder what else I'm not getting yet

Its a learning process, I just completed my 3rd campaign and learn something new every time.

That fact of the matter is that we'll always be learning a new trick or two in this game.  I found that was true in UV and now though I feel semi competent in WITP I'm continuing to learn after years playing it.  I'm only tinkering with AE as my WITP PBEMs and AAR take my time, but it'll be the same with that one too.  It's this fact that keeps us captivated....

Well, if you feel you've missed something important, try leaving your Flying Tigers at Mandalay just before twenty thousands soldiers conquer it, and just when all your Burmese defence is crumbling!
Methinks it takes a long time to perfectly know the game; we're still learning. Give time to time!

Don't feel bad as it's a big club that you've blundered into.

Do you use any of the aides such as WITPTraker?

I just now realize because of this blunder how different one aspect of my game could have been and it's a huge set back and if I'd realized it sooner It would have made a huge difference. I do use tracker and love it but I sometimes find all the stats confusing and dont always know what I'm looking at or where to find what I know I want to look at

Maybe when you do a turn and you finish it you should save it rather than hit the end orders phase.  If you realize that you forgot something then you just reopen the turn and do it.

I often neglect areas where nothing is going on and only check in on them once in a while to see their training, construction, supply or fuel status.
