Hi, this is my first post.

I'm an intermediate Allied player looking for a Japan player for Scen #1 with one day turns.
I have played AE in an PBEM games up to April 42- so I know the basics of the UI and systems. My game was ended early because other player's computer died and he can't afford a new one. I have enjoyed many different wargames over the years and only play PBEM style games. I am a very reliable player who can complete one turn a day (and this will be my only game of AE) and wants to play to the end. No restarts once the game has begun- we have to live with our mistakes and victories.

I prefer playing with few House Rules and rely on each player wanting to play without any gaminess. Of course this is a fine line- if you want to invade Noumea in Dec 41 that's fine, just no gaming the UI.
1) China- no strategic bombing by both sides in or from China at all. Allies can only move AVG and other air units that historically were moved there. Even the patrol planes that start in Hong Kong can't stage through China- must go round.
2) Both sides have to pay PP to release their units from restricted zones, this means full price- no purchasing of land units from the West Coast to air HQs to pay only quarter PP. But units in DEI commands could be changed to ADBA HQ at quarter price as they are in same theatre commands.
3) AVG must go to Burma or China.
4) No sub invasion
5) Only five artillery units per hex.
6) Allied first turn would have only China theatre getting any orders. All other theatres can not move or change orders.
7) Allies won't strat bomb oil targets until 1943- to give Japan time to build up their defences

Realism and Game Options

yes= FOW
yes= Advanced weather
yes= Allied damade control
yes= Player defined upgrades
yes= Dec 7th surprise
no.= Historical first turn
no.= Reliable USN torps
no.= Realistic research
no.= No unit withdrawals
yes= Combat reports
no.= auto subs
no.= unit auto upgrades, base expansions, auto replacements, ship upgrades
I am easy in regards to re-inforcement variability.

Of course any of the above is completely subject to negootiation and if this change in game- other HR could be introduced.

Just send any replies via PM or post on this thread.

cheers
