How do you rearm your TF's?

I moved my TF into Sydney to rearm. After two days I still have not loaded 8"/50 BL MK VIII ammunition onto my CA. Sydney is a level 9 port. The manual says level 7 + nav support is a 'Y' ( I assume that is a yes) for this type of ammo. Is this correct? After the first day, I docked my TF to see if this made it happen, but without a result.

At the same time I moved another TF into PH also to rearm which happened without problem in a day.

Another question. How do you determine if a base has torpedoes for your PBY's? Carriers list the number on torpedos onboard, but I can not find the same info for land bases.

Thanks

1.  Sounds like you need more supply at Sydney.  The port is big enough.  The only other thing I can think of is that your CA's 8" guns are damaged and need to be repaired first.

2.  Bases don't actually store AC torpedoes.  Air HQ's do.  Check your air HQ's in the area, or at that base.

Thanks for the reply.

Supply in Sydney is 258,069.

I have two CA's in my TF, Cornwall and Exeter.

For the Cornwall I show 0 damage in its systems. However, the ammo is shown as 0 (14) and 3 (14) with the '0' and '3' in red. Does this mean the weapons are damaged? If so, how do I fix them as the Cornwall will not go into the shipyard?

For the Exeter I show 1 damage (in systems). The ammo is shown as 9 (14) and 8 (14) with the '9' and '8' in white. What does this mean?

The Exeter has torpedoes (the Cornwall does not) and these are shown as 0 (1) and 0 (1) with both 0's in red. I assume that this means that they are damaged...correct?

I note your comment that the Air HQ's hold the AC torpedoes.

How about putting some AE's in the port, that would assure you of having the right ammunition for the ships?

Do you have the TF set to not refuel? If you do not refuel you will not rearm. Make sure you have full refuel set and then click on the button for refuel at port.

Good suggestion from WLockard.  Le Ricain, what you describe for your ships is just that they are out of ammo for those weapons.  If the weapon itself were damaged the number of the weapons on the left side of the display would be red and you would sure have some system damage.  1 system damage for Exeter is very insignificant.  Happens randomly during normal ops.  Routine maintenance needed, etc.

I can rearm my cruisers at Diamond Harbor (port size 8) so you've got something set on your TF that's keeping them from rearming.

I think that WLockhard has the right of it. Reading his post, I saw that the 'replenish in port' button for the TF was greyed out. Clicking on the refueling options button gave me the port option back. I have clicked on the button and when I advance the day, I should have ammo for my CA's.

Thanks.

The key is that you have to be in 'full refuel' in order to rearm. If you are in minimal or some other refuel state it does not work. Thanks for the help.
