Anyone did play this game from HPS??

Because i´m very interested in the game´s topic
i would buy it. Of course it´s quite expensive over
here, as a US - import.

I would be glad to hear opinions, Esp. the AI and how
the air and sea (if any??) war is modelled??

Thanx

I don`t own the Game but...

This game is another in the ongoing Modern Compaigns/Panzer Campaigns series from John Tiller.

It uses the same ( now getting rather old and tired IMO ) but somewhat upgraded Game Engine/AI from his old Civil War series from Talonsoft.

The AI in his recent Panzer Campaigns: Bulge was very good, less so in others. The Map and Battle seem to determine how well it functions.

It`s a turn based Game series, rather well polished, usually bug free and well researched with a good interface. Super support from HPS,as well as the fans/Playtesters.

Comes with many scenarios and a loooong Campaign Game. It gives the player the ability to configure many Game Play and interface options. They have recenty added a supply option to the series.

The Games always have an immense amount of replay value against the AI but really shine in H to H play.

If you go to the site you listed and check on the links section their are several Fan sites that have good, detailed info on the specific game and series. CGON forums has a thread on it as well and several Playtesters hang out their, nice guys too..

Now having said that, and owning all of the others in the series, I passed on it because I doubt there is much subtlety in it, the Russians must attack and break through at all costs on a narrow front and the US must hold a narrow front at all costs.....right ?

Hint: If you get it kill off his Arty ASAP .

Hello and thanx

your comments indeed help me!!

no more to hear from another one??

PS: one error of the game i noticed without playing it
on the overview map with the different NATO forces is my home city siegen, but the belgium unit stationed here on this period of time (must be a tank/mech one with leo´s and M109) is missing.

or is it possible that the game only takes into account US and
german forces??
