Status: offline 		I've been on the Yorktown several times; last October was the first time the flight deck was metalled over.  Walking on it produced a strange "sproing" noise from the deck; later, one of the volunteers said the metal was floated over the old deck rather than trying to refurbish the existing one.

Planes destroyed on the ground as in sitting ducks. The flags to the left are kill by AA
