Right! All that beautiful snow helps hide the poop from off-leash dogs so you can enjoy it in the spring! The melting snow makes it so saturated you can't even scoop it up! Grump!

Easily handled - just show up disheveled and bleary eyed from playing the game all night and doze off frequently during the trial. The defence lawyer will object and the judge will dismiss you. Then you can go home and play the game some more ...

Bummer. I know I shouldn't, but I hate the whole precess... Lawyers... Problem is now if I get called I have no excuse. Last time I claimed it would be a financial hardship. Loss of differential pay, etc. Which at the time was absolutely true. Just after my divorce, daughter in college, she lived with me without child support. Which I didn't really care about, I just wanted the 'wicked witch' out.

They tend to ensure they keep you as long as they possibly can if you try that kind of thing here. Better plan is to say, "I do"
when they ask if anyone has any preconceived notions about that particular case and then spout off some random, completely
unrelated garbage which will get you sent back to the pool or sent home coz they are worried some lawyer might actually
pick you. :-)

I'm sure you'll come up with something. Tell them you're in the process of doing the opening turn of a new pbem with Japan,
they'll have to understand that.
