Just practice your Russian, before you meet her.

Yes, indeed.

I first saw her in an episode of Angel, back then, in which she played a ballerina.

Chinese in the Firefly verse is indeed a lingua franca, but the phrase is a Russian saying, roughly « chickens laugh about that ».

She can probably do one thing that I can not do no matter what equipment is used.

She gave birth to baby goats? Now that is a trick!

But I was referring to standing on the right Great (or Big) Toe!

Despite having been to Moscow the only ballerina I have seen has been in the Nutcracker in NYC. Not generally my thing but I like that show.

We used to do like a 4 pack of events of music events at Carnegie hall with a friend who then moved to Japan and then Covid shut the whole thing done. I enjoyed the classical works but as you might expect they had to throw in some newfangled stuff from time to time. And a couple of times Opera stuff. My wife and friend would then have mercy on me and we would leave and get a drink instead. I know English, French, Latin and Gaelic, but not Italian. So having someone with good lungs belting it out to me - eh.

+1 Would go to see Sarah Brightman in a flash ... here she is doing a duet with Andrea Bocelli ...

She has a gorgeous voice !

When she sings "Time to Say Goodbye" with Bocelli it is so beautiful I always get tears in my eyes - just something about the way some music strikes your ear and soul at the same time. Ditto for Gounod's "Ave Maria" sung by a good soprano.

Here you go, a beautiful voice with nice packaging and a healthy set of things in her chest . . .

Oh yes, those things are called LUNGS!

This one has the words and is translated into English:

Have to hear her sing The Phantom of the Opera with... just about anyone. Even Antonio Banderas.
