Due to storage limits on my site, I have to streamline the available downloads.

Updated Allied ship insignia has forced me to remove non-game essential art.
Sorry, to keep this site free others will have to find alternative hosting.

This leaves me enough room for Regs rotating Japanese air art, when he completes it.

The first Rotating Japanese Air Art samples are posted on the download site.
These may be revised or updated later on.

It's just something to wet JFB's appetites.

Is there a way to have the revolving plane side art without the plane tops? I am a fan of the side art and changes in paint as the war progresses but prefer the stock plane tops? Cheers

Go into each folder and delete the top replacement bitmaps.

Though the insignia will never appear correctly on the plane tops now on.
Nor will the planeside match the top artwork at all times.

Never thought I'd ever see anyone prefer the default plane tops over the Cathartes ones. They're really amazing.

SPeaking of Cathartes' planes, are there anywhere late-war Dauntless or Avengers in dark blue (like the Hellcats etc.) available?

Doesn't look like it does.
Maybe Reg will add them later.

Rev 3 is now on the DL site.

Some more early war garbage updated to later war paint schemes.

Just for the newbies that come here from time to time you should put a link in your signature or in your member profile.

Perfect

What's up with "Regs_Cathartes_Rotating_Allied_Plane_Art_With_Tops_master.zip"?
That "With Tops" irritates me, first I thought that Cathartes tops are with it but it doesn't look like.

This is with seperate rotating tops.
The original is with the planesides in a seperate zip.

Was going to do one without individual plane tops for players that like the stock tops.
Don't think it'll happen though, they'll take too much space.
I'll rename it the next time I upgrade the site downloads.

Version 3d is up and running for the Japanese.

It's probably the final version, as there isn't really a lot that can be done with the Japanese paint schemes.

Players should unzip and overwrite the older folders, as there was an error with the Dinah NF showing up as a Lily.

Do you have any plans for doing a set for the DBB set of scenarios?

Dan Nichols,
Here is the link for the DBBB artwork, it has not been updated in a long time. The DDs were not completed yet when I posted this.

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2784760&mpage=1&key=

To get the latest art, use Halsy's art for everything but the LCUs, and use the DBBB LCUs from the above link (Posts 2 - 13 57, 60 and 61)
Using this method will get most units correct but not all.

Go to the locked art link thread in this same forum.

Or, you can click on my signature to get to the land air site.
Big B's ship profiles can be accessed on the art link thread.

These are the modern day reproductions.

Here are the bitmaps for anyone who wants them.
Though I won't be including these in the masters.

A link to this great tool.

Can be used for any game that has any type of mods installed.

http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products-jsgme.html

Allows multiple mods to be used from only one install.
Save a lot of disk space.
