I have a computer with windows 7 that i just received and can't seem to make game work.
I get to the main screen to choose game and it freezes on me.
Please help.........
My other computer had vista and it worked good.....

My english is rudimentary: I hope you can undesrstend. I have had the same problem. beware the win7 warning: it can stop the set up. A warning window advise but it is not easy to see this windows so I forget to clik "yes" and win7 block the game setup

Thanks for reply htullio but from what i can understand your telling me there was a warning that i didn't see, that i needed to click yes on.
The game seem to have installed ok, and i didn't see any warning.

Still need help , freezes at game menu to choose which game , won't let me click on anything.
Please help...............

Are we talking the Matrix Wrapper, or in the opening menu of the game, where you chose ed or BTR?

Never had a freeze/lockup before.

If you hit <esc> does the game close?

what's your hardware spec? It should run on any P4 or later, but maybe the newer, newer stuff is different?

htullio might be referring to the fact the install needs to run as admin to create some registry entries. Once they're done, you never need to run as admin again.

I get to the opening of the game where you choose ed or BTR and i can't click on anything.Hitting exc button doesn't do anything , i have to forcibly terminate the running program.
I have intel i5 processor with 8gb ram and a 1.8 ghz graphics card by Nvidia. It ran grreat on my other Vista computer but this one , nothing.
Please help if you can , thanks..................

Ok thanks htullio and harley , i found the solution!
I took harley's advice that he posted and ran the setup as admin and now works great!! :)

Is that X64 Win 7?

There might be something funky there, but I was sure a number of people are running that flavour OK...
