One thing that really bugs me about Pacific War is that replacement equipment for your units arrives almost instantly from the factories that produce it. You build an artillery piece in Los Angeles in 1941, and next week it is in the Philippines in a besiged garrison. Same thing happens with aircraft replacements. As long as there was supply, you could get new weapons, even if the base was cut off. Not having, and thereby not knowing the full way that Uncommon Valor works, here are my suggestions. I think that there sould be two forms of routine convoys. One that moves supply, and one that moves replacement equipment. Supply should not be made into equipment, as in Pacific War. Equipment should have to be brought in on its own. However, we don't want to burden the player with all of this bits of minor-details, but adding this as a form of routine convoys could add historical shortages felt during certain parts of the war. One form of supply gives units food and ammunition to prepare a unit for battle, while another form of supply gives replacement men and equipment to refit units after and before battle. This will fix two points of personal anguish in regards to Pacific War. One being that equipment miraculously appears around the world, and another that units receiving replacement troops and equipment eats up supply points so that they will not have enough Preparation Points or Readiness for battle.
