ORIGINAL: Nick Schieben I can afford it but I haven't bought it. and there were 2 things in the manual that royally p@^%*d me off - the aforementioned deal forATD owners on buying the add-on and the idea that this was scaleable to support Battlefront type scenarios and then we were told that it would only be 4km/hex. TBH I didn't get that warm glow with DotD, and shelved it within a few months. I only like to focus on a few wargames and I took a chance on this one but I can safely say it's been my least satisfying wargame purchase over the last 5 or more years. Granted, the add-on has again piqued my interest, but until I wade through the tutorial again I'm not allowed to venture to the Matrix store. Problem is - wading through the tutorial is just that! I may turn back before my feet get stuck too in the mud. Just my opinion ... Regards I wish I had seen your post sonner. You could've gave an "alternative" view to a couple of people that asked me about Kharkov. And Targ, I apologised for my initial posts and I think I've redeemed myself by putting a fairer argument forward. I'm not arrogant enough to think you were specifically aiming it at me, but I took the post to include me because I think I was the first person to suggest if people didn't like the game price, they should bugger off. Whilst on your post, I agree most people (myself included) tend to forget that we wouldn't act in such a way in public and I often try to remind myself of that prior to posting...and sometimes I fail. However, if I was to walk past you in a shop and heard you saying you wouldn't buy this game because of the price, I probably would interject and say "I wouldn't worry too much about the price - it's a great game that you'll get hours out of". I don't see that as rude. On the other hand, if I was to walk past and hear the same comment and respond with "Well, if you don't like the price, then put it back", then I would consider that as rude also. Of course I would never do that - but I did here.
