CARRIERS (PAGE 1) DATE: MARCH 27th, 1942 CARDIV 1 HIJMS AKAGI (flag), HIJMS SORYU, HIJMS HIRYU, with 178 Aircrafts ready for action, under RADM. Tamon Yamaguchi, ready for Ops after missions/torpedo reload, replenishment, and take pilots/aircrafts replacements. CARDIV 5 HIJMS SHOKAKU, HIJMS ZUIKAKU, with 148 aircrafts ready for action, under VADM. Chuichi Nagumo, ready for Ops after missions/torpedo reload, replenisment, and take pilots/aircrafts replacements. CARDIV 3 HIJMS RYUJO and HIJMS SHOHO, at Sea with 73 aircrafts aboard under RADM Takeo Takagi. This Task Force departure form Home two days ago for their planned combat area after be replenishment, reloaded and taken replacements. CARDIV 4 HIJMS ZUIHO at Java Sea escorting Transport TF to Semarang with 27 Aircrafts ready for action. ESCORT CARRIERS HIJMS HOSHO at ASW LR duties in South Seas with 19 Aircrafts under CPT Yoshimi Takao. HIJMS TAIHO at Home awaiting to transit to South Seas in a Fast Air Transport Mission (Genzan Ku S-1) ON DRYDOCKS HIJMS KAGA with 66 aircrafts, will be ready in 4 days at Singapore naval base after light refit.
