I'm sure this is an obvious question, but i couldnt find in the manual exact the effect of sending a pilot to TRACOM, is this sending him home to train? making him a 'teacher' or what ?

sorry for being sirrah ;)

Sending experienced pilots to TRACOM will speed up the graduation timtetable of pilots in the 12 month training pool. The experienced TRACOM trainers do not increase the monthly pilot pool intake, nor increase the experience the experience of the graduating pilots.

Especially for the allies...Think of it as a way house to stick your aces while think where you want to put them.......The advances in training are not that big a deal

For Japan, it's a safe place form them until needed later in the war. You really don't need pilots with the high level of experience early in the game since the opponsition is largely crap planes and pilots. Later you will need them when the opposition is stronger. Also by then you will have better airframes for them to fly. I really don't want to lose my best pilots flying Nates!
