Status: offline 		Well still to this day I love the music originally in SSI (and Gary's) Steel Panthers 1. In fact when SP Camo got the code for SP2 from SSI and redesigned the game up from the stand point of SP1 I added back the old SSI music in my personal directory, lol.

I like the music in AWAW and also Commander in Europe.

Slayer and Metallic works good too (at least from the Kill Em All album, but that is from my youth in the early 80s).

Status: offline 		The first game I've ever played that got the music right and is a joy even after hours of play is Ageods WW1 Le Grande Guerre.

The most annoying in recent times for me was the menu music for CMSF....aaaarrrggghhh!!! Thankgod for mods...

With this in mind I'd say German and Russian music of th times...military music or Russian Folk...

Status: offline 		I think that the Hymn to the Red October (from the movie Hunt for the Red October) would be fitting for the Russians. Also, I always liked the opening to the game Blitzkrieg.
