USA PBS television network has an episode on the battle of Stalingrad on their "Secrets of the Dead" series, Wednesday night, May 19. If you have access to this, check your local listing. Expert commentary provided by none other than David Glanz.

Thanks for the heads up.  It's on 8-9PM Eastern time.

This wasn't too bad of a show.  It was mostly Glantz talking about the operations leading up to Stalingrad and how the Soviets did not retreat willy nilly or try to lure the Germans into a trap. I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't explaining what was going on to my co-workers.  I am really amazed at how little people know about WW2.

I lucked out. My current boss is a retired sub-driver. Yesterday, we had a great discussion about Kimmel and Short and the ramifications of Pearl Harbor.
