How bad do you want Singapore? That's a heck of a lot of troops to shift.

FatR has committed 260000 IJA to keep me out of Singers. If I can kill those IJA units then at a ratio of 30 to one I should net about 9000 victory points plus another 3000 for singers. It will help me as I play for a draw at end game possibly a marginal allied victory. I think he has made a catastrophic strategic mistake by reinforcing singers.

Look at the night time port hits on the Nachi. Technique used for this attack is to place a black widow on lrcap
at same altitude as the bombers.

KB is moving thru Sergio Straights above Mindano into Centpac. FatR has detected Amphib fleet movements toward the Okinawa islands area.

Replay took 3:45 hours. 6 inf and one armor equivalant divisions ashore at Naha. KB splintered air attacks with minor effect. A7m3 has a gun rating of 30 an is untouchable with allied CV air. I suspect IJN bomber pilots are not as experienced as in mid war. Weather may have been a factor. Musashi is sunk in a nightfight w the Indiana and the North Carolina. IJAAF sank one CVE. As mentioned in post 1203 I suspect FatR has overcommitted to Singers. 250000 IJA in singers and 300000 in the Thai army have a long way to walk.

Hi All. I produced an allied turn about 11pm. I then fell asleep. I woke up at 1130pm, then ended and locked the unprocessed pure allied turn then emailed it to FatR.

So next morning I get an email from FatR and he asked my why I did not send surface units after his KB. I thought I had.

So I looked at the file. I sent FatR the pure allied unprocessed turn in locked format. I immediately sent him the processed turn within 15 minutes of receipt of his replay and email comment.

If we play the unprocessed turn I loose two CVs. If we play my processed turn FatR looses 700 planes.

What should I do.

1. Play on with the unprocessed turn.

2. Ask FatR to except my processed turn.

3. Ask fatR to redo his turn.

FatR has agreed to redo the turn. I am grateful. The KB has repositioned to the P.I.-Formosa straits.

Naha has fallen as well as Sibolga island base in Sumatra.

IJAAF Land based air is slaughtered but sinks two CVEs. Allies down to 30 CVEs and 6 fleet CVs.

Seems FatR naval strategy involved use of Patrol Craft to disrupt allied invasion by mass enemy ships appearing in beachhead hex forcing amphibs to get underway.

Must be getting difficult for FatR to cover Naha and Palembang with one combined KB. Raided Palembang this turn.

Nice work. Naha is a key base. Now you can secure the rest of the Okinawas and start bombing the HI.

The key would be how the plan fits into your endgame for victory .. Are you thinking of the ground VP's? or just keeping so much force trapped that you can selectivly use your reserves to achieve the end goal?
