A while ago players reported that the 30? wings do not convert to daylight fighters if you had them converted to another aircraft type before.

Fortunatly a read that before and I've never converted them to anything else, they still don't auto convert.

Yeah, i remember playing JC's mod of the original game and having 32 Ju 88c's launch rockets into b17f's in '43. 6 dead, 1 damaged!!! Dude!
Still lost the campaign as my allied opponent was brilliant.

I'm still doing some stuff for the next patch. Adding in the "auto upgrade" toggle on a global and per-unit basis might not make it, but it is on the list.

This would let you change them to something else, then change them back and put the auto upgrade back on.

Of course, this could lead to a NJG > Day Fighter cheat, so I'll have to put some work into it to make it OK...

I'm into turn 6 on a 44'Campaign playing Axis.
At the moment Stab\300 have changed into daylight fighter. Do the others will change also into daylaight fighters or they won't?
I have made a test and after more than 50 turns the game ended with an automatic Axis victory and only Stab/300 changed into daylaight fighter... Have I to wait for more turns? Or there is any problem with this auto-upgrade?

I gave up on the '43 full campaign and had a go at the '44 full campaign, only Stab JG300 upgraded as other have noted. Suddenly when the Me 262A became available Stab's JG 301 and 302 upgraded to that! Frustratingly I can't produce enough jets to see if the gruppen of JG 3xx's upgrade!
