Scenario 1, July 42 -- I have been trying occasionally to pick up the 102nd Bn piece at Bora Bora since the beginning of the game. I sent a small AP (since it's a 0 port) and it wouldn't load. Then I sent a small AK with supplies which didn't unload. Then I sent a CB unit to build a port and it wouldn't unload. Any thoughts on rescuing these marooned infantrymen? Thanks.

Keep xAP to the smallest tonnage possible.  You can even have two or three ships in the TF.
Same goes for the xAK that you sent to unload supplies (Amphibious and small tonnage)

You should actually bring in AP, not xAP, if you have one available, since port is size 0. AP have inherent means to load/unload (landing barges/boats) unlike xAP. APA would be even better, but available only later in war.
