ORIGINAL: Cannonfodder What about introducing a chance of flights "missing" each other while they meet in hex, increasing with altitude difference between flights. Is it possible to implement? flights miss each other all the time as it is now... that´s when you constantly see a couple of fighters missing their squadron on a sweep (happening like 95% of the time) or when you see fighters missing their bombers they should escort (doesn´t happen as often but still "often"). That´s independent from altitude though it seems. Hey castor troy, I was actually refering to Allied and Axis flights missing each other, meaning no combat in hex X, with a chance of increasing that with altitude difference. The defending side would have a bonus to first detection, decision to engage or not engage and bounce (climbing up or loosing altitude as required) if they had support of ground observers and radar. One can dream
