Just so I am sure, the Admirals Edition encompasses "War in the Pacific", so there is no need to have War in the Pacific in order for the Admirals Edition to function...Right.?? Cuz its a lotta scratch and I am not buy two of em !!!

You only need the one! In fact, even if you had tons of cash I would not bother with WITP at all because WITP: AE is a vastly improved edition of it.

BTW, you will find WITP: AE much less expensive than you anticipate because you will spend far less on other games.

AE will give you so much bang per buck that you will wonder why you even bothered after launching it for the first time. I promise.

I played its grandfather, Uncommon valor, its predecessor, WitP and now AE for about 7 years now.
Every single of them is a masterpiece and Admirals Edition is their king.

Regarding the manual: Many things have changed since the first release, so not all information is correct anymore. Still its worth
to have a hardcopy. For everything else theres always somebody here to answer questions.

Another person fades into the bliss of refighting the Pacific War.  His friends and family will wonder why he mutters to himself about this and that being broken and why this and that happened.

The perfect spouse or girlfriend!

Wait...how would my ego handle getting crushed in scenario 1 by my wife? Ok, maybe its better that my wife simply looks at me staring at my laptop screen, smiles and asks, "are you winning?"

I blame my father and to a lesser extend my older brother. Both are plane and tank nuts and my barbie tea partys always got invaded, dive bombed and crushed by armored spearheads :( Ken couldnt handle that.
After some crying my grandpa (served in the war) told me to place AT and AA guns and showed me wich one those are (I stole them from my brother) There it all began I guess. Now I am an adult and my silly husband cant tell the difference between a Spitfire and a BF109 *shudders*
