First game of the season is in the books.  Other team was playing up and could not match up with us.  We won 9-1.  Alex played the first half in net and only had to stop 3 shots.

Playing a more skilled team tonight...

Operation Snake (1969) by Jon Messman Nick did not believe in the Abominable Snowman, until high up in the Himalayas he was forced to.. He did not believe a woman could tie him down, until he met Khaleen...He did not believe one man could stop a Chinese invasion until he had to.

The Red Rebellion (1969) by Jon Messman It started out as a wipe out mission, either capture or kill the enemy agent. But in the background lurks a mastermind with a scientifically perfect plan. American universities tick like time bombs, the students turn to a new teaching, straight out of Mao's Little Red Book.

14 Seconds to Hell (1968) by Jon Messman Somewhere in Red China a death factory sheltered Pekings gigantic nuclear arsenal, It was guarded by a master genius whose hatred was fanned by an corrupt beautiful woman. He programed the bombs to explode on voice command...Hi target was the US and Russia.

The Casbah Killers (1969) by Jon Messman Casablanca's agent had vanished. Athena knew him as a quick-tempered killer. Marina described him as a shy and gentle person. Fatasha said he was a regular of her place. The strange man with a thousand faces was missing and Nick Carter had to find him.

Operation Che Guevara (1969 in US) (1970 in UK)

The world believes Che Guevara is dead. But our hero has doubts. Clue 1 is Teresina. Clue 2 is Yolanda. one of them can lead him to El Garfio, "The Hook". He might just be Che Guevara.

The Arab Plague (1970, 1979 UK)(UK title The Slavemaster (1970))
A diabolically clever espionage plot is behind the behavior of the world's leaders. Sudden defections, incredible policy reversals, and shattered diplomatic relations. All centered around the slave trade. Beautiful girls are tricked or kidnapped into the clutches of a madman.

Triva
The publishers, Howard and Wyndham published both even though Slavemaster was out long before The Arab Plague and alternative titles are not usually published together.

Well, The Che Guevara one is an M3 for a change. I wonder if they ever work their way up to a good ol' AK.
