Hi all, quote:
ORIGINAL: DivePac88 Thanks Guys for the welcome back, and I must say that I did really miss the 'good-crack' of THE THREAD. But I have not been idol in my exile, I have been planning and scheming-up some very cunning Allied plans. So I do really pity the poor Japanese player that answers my call in the opponent's section. As I am going to make my new opponent's life hell, and chase him and his tinny little aircraft and ships all the way back to the Home Islands. Yes Leo, we did fell the Earthquake here, even though we were about 300 kilometers southwest of Christchurch. It was what we call a real roller, but it came from a different direction that normal. As all the quakes we normally get here come from the Alps to the west of us. We normally get a few 5's each year, so are quite used to them. But this one was noisy, and had a real rolling motion, and even scared me I must admit. No structural damage though luckily, but lots of books and ornaments on the floor. The fish tank lost most of it's water, but the fish managed to hold on in the tank. The CD player was our main casualty, as the quake rattled all the CD's out of the internal tower, and jammed the dammed thing up. But the main thing was the Quake killed no one, and that was dodging a bullet in my book. Well it's good to be back, and I must go now and find a broken game post, and give them hell, tally-hoo. RGR - good to hear! Leo "Apollo11"
