I hate when work phone me when I'm off, it's worse when I'm on leave.  It's extra special good when they phone me when I'm on leave to tell me that leave I've got planned needs to be cancelled to put me on a course.  What makes that even better is that I've already done the ****ing course, but because the equipment has a different letter on the end I have to do it again   I didn't like the course the first time round either.

Erm...would this be a hypothetical situation you're describing, sir?

Plus, I'm not a sir I work for a living etc etc. And I know how those big shiny toys outside the hanger work

Just ran my morning turn, and Ramjet is landing at Mersing from the sea, never seen that before. Hope the Aussie brigades can hold for a few days, so I can get all my troops south. This is turning into a really good game, as he is clobbering me everywhere, even though I am probably the best player in the Universe.

I know absolutely nothing about birds. I read of a "titmouse" in one of the Patrick O'Brien books and thought it was hilarious until I looked it up and discovered that that is what the bird is actually called.

I happen to run my games in a most brilliant fashion. Except for those parts that I manage to screw up. Which, of course, I do just to give the AI a fighting chance. Not because I am often inattentive and get distracted by every scantily clad girl I see on TV. Which of course pisses off my wife, which in turn causes more distractions. Which then seemingly leads to my BB and Transports getting sunk by a small gang of aged CLs and one lonley DD. Not that it still bothers me.
