i am surprised, but happy, to read this. We are not supposed to be the most friendly inhabitants to foreigners (wich is not my fault).
Happy to learn it was ok for you.

We were there almost 2 weeks. There was one person who was not nice. I am sure if you were over here you would encounter more than one person who was not nice. I had used Rosetta Stone French for 6 months before we went. I think that helped. I also think it was common courtesy for me to try and speak French. It helped me because I was able to read menus, street signs, brochures, etc.

Given your kids' ages, I'd say that this must be purely academic. Unless, of course, you were the teenage boy with the loose bladder on the receiving end of all that once upon a time.

Academic? No, Onime, it's just planning. You see, life will go exactly as I ordain. There are to be no deviations from the path I charted out for my kids some time ago. Thus, my son will be a left-handed starting pitcher for the Oakland A's prior to his stint on the Supreme Court of the United States. My daughter has her course (aforementioned) too. What could possibly go wrong?

As for myself, I take the 5th.

I have. Stunningly beautiful, especially the naval battles. Not a lot of depth though.

I still have the first Medieval Total War installed on my computer.  Own the second, but, well, I got WitP and then AE was released.....

Did Shogun, Medieval and Rome: Total War. Enjoyed them all in their own right. Got quite a bit of mileage out of Rome: TW. I must (sheepishly) admit to regularly crucifying the Egyptians whenever they got out of hand...

What are some of the major gameplay elements in Empire that are different than these?

PS. The "cute" top wasn't too bad, at leats it reaches down to her belt line. Shame it doesn't reach up to her neck.

Facebook is nice. And there's no one forcing you to publish every detail of your life. So whatever leaks they have, just make sure your informations would also be ok to be published as front page headline in a newspaper.
This way, you're fine!

Wise advice.

Probably not that easy to buy where you are. Not the most "Gun friendly" place. You have a lawn?

Just ignore all those cutesie Facebook aps and only use it to post messages or pics. If you do that it is relatively safe.

Yes. Yes, he should. Most definately! To people who do, accidents have been known to happen.

Hey Mike ! thanks a lot.
Not sure about changing of job (you know what you loose, you don't know what you grab). It is an opportunity, but good or bad ?
And sadly beloved wife is not recovering from mental health, and i am on the ropes ....

Lets hope ....

WE do Eric. We do.

Sad to hear that your wife still doesn't feel better, Eric.

Torsten, sadly, last interview with psy doc stated that it could well be that she will never recover to "normal" mental state....

it's hard to stand when hope seem to disapear....
Don't know what to add...

My sympathies, Eric

Per, thanks. Hope things are fine for you ???

Come on, i should really think that there are more serious troubles elsewhere in the world.
I could be French......
Oh damn.....

Being French is NOT a bad thing. It means you have good taste in wine, women and food. It means women think you are romantic, and have a really cute accent. Aren't stereo types wonderful?! I'm a New Englander by birth. That means I'm supposed to me mean, cheap, disagreeable, arrogant and something of a geezer! OH CRAP! OK, so once in a while sterotypes MIGHT be true!

OH BTW, no girl EVER thought MY accent was cute!

Are we back to talking about the BU (Boyfriend unit) now?

I'd like to put in a recommendation for a pump shotgun. Sure: break-action-style barrels or a semi-automatic format are quite functional in their own right. But nothing quite loosens the teenage boy bladder like a pump shotgun being racked whilest dad is standing in his slippers on the lawn at 1am. This tends to expedite the 'goodnight' process and assure minimal physical intimacy at that point between BU and darling daughter.

If a MORE expedited departure is required, paternal clothing (whilest standing on the lawn racking a pump shotgun in one's slippers) is optional. Check your local ordinances re: the feasibility of this adjunct step.

He's in England old boy! A pump shot gun says "redneck American". He'll use a custom antique double barrell .

I believe that in the Uk public nudity is not an offence per se, it must be designed to cause alarm or distress.

Then how do you explain fat men in speedo's on Brighton Beach! That caused ME alarm and distress!
