Hi all, quote:
ORIGINAL: USS America February is almost over, but it continues to make it's presence felt. We lost another member of The Greatest Generation this morning. I have no URL link to a news story to post, as I don't think it has made any of the papers. Paul Sorrentino, a veteran of the 29th Infantry Division and the D-Day landings, and my Poppy, moved on to the next stage of his journey this morning, after spending 91 years in this stage. He was a character on this stage in every aspect of the word and he truly LIVED his 91 years. I'm having a shot of the best rum in the world (a double as he would have wanted it ) in his honor, ironically at 1111 hours local. If any of my Brothers get a chance sometime today, please drink to his service with me. Poppy, we were lucky to have you in our lives and we will miss you! My sincere condolences Mike...
