guys, if you haven't already seen it, don't, i repeat DON'T allow your significant other to talk you into seeing "The Black Swan"...you have been warned...

I liked it. Is being Russian a valid excuse?

It was a superb film.

Black Swan is fantastic a descent into madness

Hmmm ... mixed reviews here.

Evening tithe.

Leaving for a two week CAX. Unsure of Internet accessability. Have fun friends, and in my absence please (pick one);

1/ Have a good discussion on what the psychological impact would be, showing kids the T Toe of Doom.
2/ PM stuman and ask for tax tips
3/ Keep watch on our new (warspite1) master faberist.
4/ Help Steve keeping the Hippies off his lawn.
5/ Have a good natured discussion on which tank, Sherman or Panther, that was the best one.
6/ Post pictures of anything but girls clad in Dental Floss bikinis.
7/ Choose your own.

Laters, Friends.

ETA: 8/ Call sprior 'sir" at least one time/day while at the same time moving between different locations in case he invents a way to stab you over the Internet

Be careful !

Thank you stu. I was.

... and while I am on the subject of tax returns, I did mine this morning.

Logged on onto my personal account on our IRS equivalent.

Checked the numbers reported from my banks and my employer.

Looked right so I then signed my tax returns electronically and logged out.

Took just above two minutes.

And I will.

So do you think we are calling you an officer or a peer?

A peer would be Lord. You can get a knighthood without being a peer of the realm. Anyway, I worked for a living.

If you say so sir.

Morning tithe.  Getting fed up with respiratory bugs brought in by the kids, potentiated and then passed on to mom and dad.  This is the fifth time this season...

Got one on the exercise too. No surprise given that we were some 700 people (from all over the world) crammed up working in a hangarlike building.

Hi all,

This is how official "IL-2: Cliffs of Dover" site deals with negative posts...

quote:

RANTS- complaints, whines and negative postings!

Rants, complaints, whines and all the negative jibe will not fix anything faster and only makes it harder to enjoy other users discussions on the forums when nay-sayers are constantly popping into discussions with their negative tripe.

Just report negative and troublesome posters by clicking in the upper right corner. Mods will receive instant emails and can deal with the troublesome posters. It is not sensible to try to explain, console, or otherwise placate the troublemakers. Just report them, and their postings will be deleted or they will be banned.

Leo "Apollo11"

UBISOFT ... thanks Leo for reminding me why I'm boycotting their games.

Oooh. Blast UNP.

5 measly posts makes a 'blast' these days?

Man o man-commodity inflation is going nuts...trying to convince us that the same quantity (and quality) seen before in a 'new and improved' package (read: smaller) is the same as before?

Agreed. Onime is obviously wallowing in his GFU absence freedom and so has become a slacker.

Good night all. 14 more days.

What? Does the 15th being on a Friday mean that you get until midnight Sunday?

This year it does. Returns are actually due the 18th.

So 13 days and counting. I am tired.

Stay strong stu!

... as we say here - There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just try to avoid getting hit by the train.

Good news from doctor. Cholesterol is down to 160. Bad Cholesterol is down to 150.

Guess I have to go and get a med exam at some convenient time. Haven't done one since I was abroad (to Kosovo) last time, and that's 6 years ago now. AFAIK, have never been tested for Cholesterol either.

Coffee break.

Oh no, I was going to insert the usual coffee smiley (from bestsmileys), but instead I got this;
