Gunners chunk it again.

I was really hoping for silverwear of any sort this year . . . Carling cup anyone? Hard to be a fan atm.

Y'all drink Carling in a silver cup? That stuff doesn't deserve such treatment!

Insulting the the Budweiser of Canada and Europe? They used to have a 'supreme' w/ hooligan level alcohol content, not good tasting but effective. Probably destroys silver on contact.

My dad used to drink Carling by the case (at least half a case daily), so I am quite familiar at least with the US version. So, yes, I feel that I can insult the stuff (BTW, I insult Buttwiper on a regular basis as well - give me a local brew any day)!

Just write 'Arsenal 2010-2011' on it and send it to me, I'll forward it to Wenger.

As in "stick a fork in them, they're done"?

No idea what Carling is. And judging by the comments, happily so.

Clear blue skies, warm weather, 4 day weekend - what could possibly go wrong?

To connect it with another discussion in the thread - apparently Arsenal.

Per, you missed your que for the pink fluffy cloud.

Yay! Someone has obviously paid the fees for Bestsmileys.com. It 's up again!

Happiness ...

Thanks for the tip, Onime.

Well then, if you need more paces why don't you just get a pacemaker?

As for who paid the bill for Bestsmileys, given the camshot of the person below, USS Mike is strongly suspected.

I didn't pay for it, but I regularly use their hockey and coffee smileys.

Glad there was a post in the general discussions about today being the day that Skynet takes over. Had completely forgotten about humanity being destroyed/slightly miffed.

It's funny seeing the dates that old movies are set in passing by and comparing the expected vs. rl results of civilization.
I'm still waiting for my freaking jet car.

I've drilled it into my son (figuratively, of course) that his role in life (other than curing cancer, of course) is to mass produce a hover car for his dear old dad to get one. I have taken to asking him-out of the blue-"Hey! Where's my hover car?" It cracks him up.

With advances in modern medicine, your son will be visiting you in the nursing home when you're 151 years old. You'll be whining "Son, where'e my flying car? I want my flying car!"

He'll be saying, "Dad, simmer down, we have to change your diaper."

Hi all,

Snow from yesterday melted and the sun's out here. It would be nicer if it weren't 45 bleedin' degrees F, but I'm not picky.

Snow?!?!?!

We here have blue skies, sun and +25 degrees Centigrade for days... spring in its fullest...

And Chickenboy lives in Minnesota, which along with Wisconsin is the icebox of the lower 48 US states.

22 degrees here, clear skies and sun. Bad time for me to get my midlife crisis.

I know that he is from Minnesota... but it is end of April... I didn't expect snow at that time of the year for him... end of March OK but April...
