Original:Woodman Xkill are you using photoshop to make these ships? Or another similar program? If in photoshop open your ships press crtl-A, crtl-c, crtl-n (to open new doc the same size as your image, at the bottom of the new doc options make sure you choose background transparent), when new doc is open press crtl-v to paste in your image over the transparent background, it should be on a new layer. Then click the magic wand tool (its in the same tool slot as quick select tool, so if quick select tool is there click and hold and choose magic wand), make sure the anti-alis and sample all layers are not ticked, you can have contiguous ticked if you like or we might actually delete some of the black on the blue sphere by accident, set tolerance to 0 and select the black on your image, press delete, then go to layer--> merge visible and tada, you got your ship on a transparent background (assuming all that black is actually the same shade of black, but it looks like it is). Also, ships need to have their fronts facing up, so go to Image-->Image Rotation-->90 CW Well, I don't use Photoshop, actually I use GIMP (Because of its friendly interface) but it aren't giving me any good results, the Alpha-Channel thing doen'st makes sense for me either. I know that I must make the rotation i would do it but i've forgot, also i don't use any image editing programs to make these, but instead a Ship Editor but, from another game. Besides that what do you think about it? Igard I use GIMP (Because of its friendly interface, well at least for me) but it aren't giving me good results.
