I own both PZCOWS and PZCK in a merged install. To install the new update will I have to uninstall and reinstall the game? I also have some user created scenarios and mods DL'd from this site. Will they work in Ostfront?

BTW, I'm really excited that the long wait for this fantastic update is almost over and thanks in advance to the devs and everyone one here for the time and effort you've put into this project.

Actually it won't be an update but a stand alone install. Your serial number from PCK will allow you to install PCO.

User content should work in the new game. What won't work are mods for things that have changed. For instance BilH made a NATO icon mod for the floating icons. Since those have been completely redone, Bil's won't work.

What about single elimination of individual units from a stand? Is that in Osfront in single dosage and not having to wait until the entire stack is detroyed before the whole thing disappears?

Yes, we still have step loss but with the standard 3 man graphic, each loss causes one man to fall down.

You can show graduated infantry losses. PC is not a 1:1 infantry combat model if that's what you're asking.

Good Hunting.

Yes this was the answer I was looking for. Before you had to lose the entire unit before anything fell and that just didn't seem realistic.

What about the 5 man graphic?

I don't know I never tried it.

I used to have a slow computer that lagged enough with 3. Never thought about trying it now. I'm so used to 3 from CM and PC it seems natural.

It decreases as well. I'd have to check to see the actual numbers.

Thanks

You know how hard it is to get your men killed when you want to?

One man falls for the first step and two men fall for the second step.
