Pictures work fine on Firefox 3.6.12. A little reboot fixed my issues. Sorry for the incorrect report.

Thanks guys, we have duplicated that issue with the What's New section overlapping the other areas and we are working to fix it. Jomni - IE6 is just about the worst browser IMHO. If you don't have a good reason to stay with it, I would also recommend upgrading.

Regards,

- Erik

LOL! I can't upgrade since this is a company laptop. But I'm using Firefox and higher version of IE at home. :)

Sorry for the oversized picture by the way.

Anybody with browser display problems. The first thing you should try, no matter our page or others, flush the browsers cache, restart browser and visit the page again so it loads everything completely new. Sometimes, with site relaunches you get funny things happen if some pieces like the style sheets etc. use the same names as formerly.

Also, ditch that crappy compatibility modes for IE. It is worth nothing ;)

Your company should investigate why your system admins let you guys run on one of the worst browsers ever.
Not only that IE6 is a security problem these days too.

<Typing this in IE6 >

The reason my, and probably other companies too, keep IE6 around is because the web applications we develop are used by a European-wide customer base of which a lot aren't so technically advanced that they even know how to upgrade the IE that came with their computer x years ago.

So, sad but true, IE6 is still the baseline on which every web app developed here must still run, but of course we ourselves have later versions and Firefox too.

The good thing about IE6 is that it *literally* starts in half a second on my machine. <insert rant about bloatware here>

Eddy,

It's true that we all still need to develop with IE6 in mind, but when the day comes that we can stop developing for IE6, we will all have a little party.

Nice...lovely new look.
Quicker to find what you're after etc...

I went to Digital Rivers find my order page.
All my games have become the last order i made.
Eg: if i click the re-download button they are all LSA.
What's going on..???

I hope this is because of the changes.

When this happens, go to the order you want, copy the order number, back up one web page and search by the order number.

Is make me frightened that companies, whatever they produce, are not "so technically" advanced that they can not switch to a decent browser. It is a browser after all, not a completely new business software solution.
IE6 is a pest. It bloats websites cause you need to put in hacks and extra scripts in order to make today standards run. IE in facts has always been a pest to code for.

We certainly not, cause we are an entertainment company, we do not provide stone age old SAP support or something here.
I guess we can expect people to browse with a tad more up to date software ;)

I guess every webdesigner hates IE 6 with a passion.

Anyway, the new site is nice and you guys finally replaced the old webstore with a referrer, based on visitor's location. What means that we poor Europeans can "simulate" to live in the states and don't have to bother with VAT anymore. I tried that in the morning and it works. Kinda like Gamersgate.

That said, to make the site perfect I'd like to have a download area in members section, where all my previous purchased games are listed, so I could re-download if necessary. This would bring Matrix finally on par with other download distributors, as D2D, GG, GoG, Impulse and alike.

I agree looks good....however still to app???? really!! Even State Farm has an app.

Not sure I follow - app?

app as in application. Once you have "app" on your phone you push it and boom matrix site is on your phone. I have the ESPN app and many others on my Droid/ipod touch. Granted I have matrix saved as a web browser on my droid but it would be a nice feature. Slitherine has two games you can download from itunes, so I don't think it would be hard to add an matrix "app" at itunes.

That's one of the things we are planning actually - the new site and store will allow us to do that, though it's a medium to long-term project.

Since we're speaking about it. The findmyorder site got replaced with

http://home.plimus.com/ecommerce/customers/find-order

One can merely enter credit card / e-mail there, but no order number anymore. Customers who use different payment options (i.e. Paypal) won't be able to find their previous purchases. That needs to be fixed.

Agreed. Right now, we can look up any order for you - just contact us and we'll get the info back to you.

Implementing a way for you to look up your own orders and get your own download links (and make it better than findmyorder.com) is in the works and part of Phase II of the new site and store. Stay tuned!

Regards,

- Erik

In the end it worked from Digital Rivers site.

YES Erik....i have them, some left to get.

But they still show as LSA if i use the Credit Card numbers.
Going on order number works.....so hey,not the end of the world.

The link on Matrix gives me a message about allowing cookies or.........
If set as allowed then delete file...20009SC01.

Cookies are allowed & there is NO file 20008SC01.
So i have always used the Digital River link....the Matrix one has never worked for me.

Ok, I can confirm that www.findmyorder.com is the right one to use going forward for any purchases made through our old store with DR. We are working on setting up another method for customers who purchased from DR to get re-downloads and retrieve serial numbers, regardless of what DR may decide in the future, but that's still going to take a while to work out. In the meantime, download links and serial numbers can still be retrieved via www.findmyorder.com.

Regards,

- Erik

When I click 'more info' it only about the differences between standard, digital express, and collectors editions.

One the product page, all the usual information is there, except there is no info on system requirements and Resolution support like the old site.
