Campaign points for upgrade - Transferable to next upgrade possibility?

Just started playing a campaign-game (first timer!). Two question: 1. After winning a battle in a campaign, you are given the option to upgrade/change units with the points you've won. If I deceide not to spend them all, and rather wait for the next possibility (e.g. after yet another battle (hopefully won), will the "old" points not used be accumulated with the "new" points from the last battle fought? In other words; may I save points for later? 2. When changing/upgrading units, what is the impact upon experience? brg. Carl C.

1) yes, unspent points are stored for later use 2) experience decreases when you upgrade units

Yes you can if you're playing a generated or long campaign. I think the fix/upgrade points are set by the designer in a designed campaign.

Experience goes down a little. The other thing to watch for is that ratings stay the same. So if you have a sniper with an Inf rating of 90 and an Arm rating of 30, and you change him into a tank, he's going to be almost useless. ------------------ Billy Yank I don't define "my own" the way you want me to.
