I have been wondering if putting good leaders in my air units when they are at a very low exp level would help bring their exp up faster and farther.

Any thoughts guys?

Supposedly leadership skill helps with training.

I'm not sure if this confirmed by the devs or just wishful thinking.

wasn�t there someone doing a test that neither leaders nor veteran pilots help in pilot training? Can�t remember exactly but veteran pilots don�t help for sure.

This was my recollection as well. Testing demonstrated that neither was helpful. It would make sense if it did, but no such luck AFAIK.

This was my recollection as well. Testing demonstrated that neither was helpful. It would make sense if it did, but no such luck AFAIK.

I remember official statements that it should and that this was how it was supposed to be released, don�t know if it didn�t make the cut or if it just doesn�t work, but the tests showed it doesn�t work. So I wouldn�t bother about the leader for training units nor put any veterans into the squadron as this just fills up a pilot slot better used for a green pilot...

It was me and I still stand by my data ... leaders and veterans make no difference... except veterans skew the data (as they make a higher average) & if there are advantages they are still too small to see or be bothered with ...
