Order Information
Product Quantity Price per Unit Total
Gary Grigsbys War in the East Physical with Free Download
1 £60.99 £60.99
Shipping & Handling £4.22
Total: £65.21
* IMPORTANT: International shipments may require duties, brokerage fees, customs fees and/or taxes that you may have to pay which are not included.

Judge Dread said he was charged just £65? The answer was that the £60.99 price included VAT? Can you confirm this.

If VAT is already charged then what is the significance of the teeny weeny writing below which I've highlighted in red?

That's your standard boilerplate for things that are out of our control. Since copies to Europe ship from our warehouse in Germany now, there should be no duties at all, with the caveat that what the government may or may not do is out of our control. There is no additional VAT charge for the physical copy, that's correct, we confirmed that with the store.

Regards,

- Erik

Ok but I'm just slightly concerned that there is no mention of VAT/customs in the payment receipt and that the UK post office might stop the parcel.

I then have the problem of

A) convincing them that the customs duty has been paid
B) Getting them to waive their admin fees (£8-£12) for stopping and holding goods on behalf of the Customs

Knowing the UK postal service I can't see them waiving B)?

Hi Ian,

I will check with the store again, but do they normally stop parcels from Germany for customs?

Regards,

- Erik

Just wanted to officially post here that I have received my boxed game this morning and there were no additional charges...

Thank you.
